Elio Ruscetta is a commercial still-life photographer and visual artist specialising in crafted, narrative-driven imagery for brands and agencies.
Working across advertising, editorial and product campaigns, his practice combines controlled studio photography with bespoke set design, miniature environments and concept-led production. Each project is approached as a complete visual solution — from idea development through to final execution — with a strong focus on storytelling, precision and brand alignment.
Based in the UK and working internationally, Elio operates across studio and on-location environments, as well as from his own home studio for smaller-scale and agile productions. This flexibility allows him to adapt to a wide range of project scopes, from high-end campaigns to efficient, budget-conscious solutions.
With a background rooted in years of hands-on studio experience, he has developed a distinct approach that merges technical control with creative exploration. His work often explores the space between surrealism and abstraction, using light, material and form to transform everyday objects into striking visual statements.
A key part of his process is the construction of custom-built sets and environments, designed specifically around the product. This allows for complete control over composition, perspective and atmosphere, creating images that go beyond documentation and into narrative-led visual communication.
Alongside traditional techniques, he integrates digital and AI-assisted workflows to support concept development, pre-visualisation and production efficiency — enabling more ambitious ideas to be realised with clarity and control.
Elio collaborates with brands and agencies to create imagery that is not only visually distinctive, but strategically aligned — delivering work that supports campaigns, builds identity and elevates products within a competitive market.
